Vibration dampening inserts help keep grates secure under load conditions. PolyDrain channels feature RedDot polyethylene or GreenDot polypropylene inserts.
The full-length keyway joint mechanically anchors the channel to the surrounding concrete encasement.
Locking devices are recommended for all applications with loading requirements greater than residential and pedestrian traffic or where vandalism may be an issue.

The PolyDrain pre-sloped, polymer concrete trench drain system is designed for a wide range of surface drainage applications. With its smooth interior finish, radius bottom, and integrated 0.6% slope, PolyDrain channels achieve flow velocities up to 1 m/s (3.5 ft/s) even on flat grades. This high hydraulic efficiency helps minimize debris buildup and enhances long-term performance.

By virtue of a smooth interior finish, radius bottom, and built-in 0.6% slope, flow velocities of 1 meter/second (3.5 feet/second) are attained inside ABT PolyDrain trench drain channels even in flat grade conditions. The higher hydraulic flow velocity and smooth surface reduces debris build-up in the precast polymer concrete drain channels in comparison to cast-in-place trench drain construction.
