Terminator 2564 Grate

Introducing the PolyDrain 2564 grate for those demanding intersection crosswalk and doorway applications.

The grate provides ADA compliance for all pedestrian traffic directions. Also, all openings are less than 0.25" in width making it heel proof.

Cast from strong ductile iron, the grate passes AASHTO’s stringent M306 proof test for grates and manhole covers. It provides sufficient strength for roadway and fork lift applications.

Anchors of 0.25" diameter stainless steel are located at each of the 4 corners securely securing the grate in place against traffic loads and asphalt "squirm".

The inlet openings while small are numerous providing inlet flow capacity beyond expectation. Hydraulic performance is much higher than perforated steel grates.

The problem answered by this unique grate is handling the complications of adjacent asphalt. The extra height (2.36", 60 mm) allows the grate to be anchored into the concrete base and still allow a finish layer of asphalt to be safely installed against the grate.
